The Walking Dead: Aftermath

seems pretty great so far! I onky just downloaded it earlier today. But I like the top down, shooter vibe. Attacking is fun, and collecting XP and gathering upgrades seems to work as it should. Based on the game type, I'm almost positive, I'll hit a paywall/playwall, where it will be virtually impossible to pass a certain point in the game without spending a bunch of money. If that doesn't happen, then I'll be sure to come back and change my rating to 5 stars... Ad removal should be permanent.

Has potential, but needs some tweaks. Gameplay, atmosphere, and graphics are nice. Nothing groundbreaking, but nice. No permissions needed! Needs a proper way to exit / close the game. No exit button, and backing out simply leaves the game running in the background. Progress is good only for a short while, up to around stage 8 or so. After that, you have to replay levels over and over for materials to upgrade enough to proceed further. That needs serious attention.

I want to like this game but there are alot of downsides. for starters the packs in the game are way too expensive. once you get to a certain point in the game you will be swarmed by walkers which creates lag and causes the game to freeze. the odds of getting an actual playable character are slim to none. each character has a stand still bonus but good luck actually being able to stand still long enough to get it much less use it.
